UPSC के लिए कौन सी NCERT books पढ़नी चाहिए?
इतिहास: Class 6-8 (Our Pasts), 9-10 (India and Contemporary World), 11 (Themes in World History), 12 (Themes in Indian History)।
भूगोल: Class 6-10 + Class 11 (Physical Geography) + Class 12 (Human Geography, India People & Economy)।
राजव्यवस्था: Class 9-12 (Democratic Politics, Political Theory, Indian Constitution at Work)।
अर्थशास्त्र: Class 9-12 (Economics, Indian Economic Development, Macroeconomics)।
विज्ञान: Class 6-10।
NCERT के बाद: Laxmikanth, Bipin Chandra, Majid Husain, Ramesh Singh पढ़ें।

DAF (Detailed Application Form) क्या है और इसे कैसे भरें?
DAF Mains qualify करने के बाद भरा जाने वाला विस्तृत आवेदन पत्र है जो interview board का primary source होता है।
DAF में जानकारी: व्यक्तिगत विवरण, Hobbies व Extra-curricular, Work experience, Optional subject, Service preferences, Cadre preference, Languages known, Awards।
Tips:
• केवल वही hobby लिखें जिसमें genuine interest हो
• Hobby पर 5-7 minutes की conversation की तैयारी रखें
• Birthplace, education city के facts जानें
• Service preferences soch-samajhkar भरें

2. आयु सीमा और attempts limit के भीतर होना जरूरी है।
3. यदि आप IAS पाना चाहते हैं लेकिन IRS या IPS मिली हो, तो कई अधिकारी better rank के लिए दोबारा attempt देते हैं।
